Learn the secrets of Ligurian cuisine is possible joining cooking courses organized by Restaurant Grande Italia, which plans lessons in collaboration with major eateries in the area.
Participants will be challenged with their own hands to learn the secrets of Ligurian cuisine, with behind them the charming view of the gulf and the curious eyes of passersby. At the end of the lesson and after many questions and discussions is possible tasting the culinary works or bring them home.
The cooking classes are organized for groups of at least 5 people. Students can attend one or more of the following lessons:
-Lesson "fresh made and stuffed pasta". Students learn by hand and with machine to make fresh pasta: noodles (tagliatelle), corxetti, gasse and trofie. During the lessons students prepare the filling and pulls the pasta of pansotti and ravioli with a special rolling pin. The lesson concludes with a demonstration of the preparation of Ligurian pesto through the traditional Genovese mortar.The lesson costs 25 €.
-Lesson "stuffed cakes and buns. " Students learn to make pastry for pasqualina pie and the famous Recco focaccia with cheese. The lesson costs 25 €.
-Lesson "meat and fish " Students learn to prepare "cappon magro", to clean fish and wrap the "cima" with the needle. The lesson costs 35 €.
For each lesson ingredients, recipes and cooking times are deeply described and each student will receive the exemption on the purchased lesson. You can combine the lessons to special treatments including overnight staying and board in the hotel.
